Clinton: A Jag, Not a Ferraro

In a Newsweek article Geraldine Ferraro wrote about her run for vice president of the United States in 1984. Her candidacy planted the seed of possibility that a woman could someday serve as president of the U.S. In 2008 it will be 24 years, a generation, a since Mrs. Ferraro ran on the Democratic ticket with Senator Walter “Fritz” Mondale. Now Senator Hillary Clinton is running for president and this time it’s for real.
